Richard House provides care and support for life-limited children and children with complex healthcare conditions between the ages of 0 and 19 and their families. They accompany them during the child or young person’s journey through life to death, creating positive experiences along the way which become good memories for the future, helping our children and young people make the most of the time they have, providing the opportunity for play and recreational activities and offering assistance to parents and siblings.

All our services are completely free to families.

The tremendous support we have received from the local community through the Pearly Kings and Queens  has been excellent since the hospice opened in 2000. This support is instrumental in helping us raise the £1.8 million that is needed each year to keep our vital service available to the children and families that need us.
